I have worked in the horticulture industry in one aspect or another for most of my life. Even before I could drive a car I was pulling a trailer behind my dad’s riding mower and mowing lawns in the neighborhood. My first ‘real job’ during high school was in 1987 at a florist. I then went on to work at several florists, garden centers, a wholesale plant grower, and a large commercial landscape maintenance company. Along the way I earned my degrees in plant and soil science, and horticulture.

Since its establishment in 2005, PollyDog Landscapes has evolved from a weekend lawn service company to a full service landscape design and installation company. We specialize in native landscape designs that can survive our extreme weather conditions. I am also available for consulting and public speaking on all things related to horticulture.
